How quickly will a recent class be added to the library for replay?
It depends on your bandwidth, but normally the classes should be available for Replay within a few hours of the original class finishing.
For a client who’s recently joined, will they have the ability to see the replay classes prior to their joining date? Or is their view limited to their start date on the app?
Yes, the Replay classes will be available to anyone eligible to participate in the Replay class. Their eligibility is based on your Replay Settings that you can configure in the Spivi Home & Replay section of the My Studio page.
From the client perspective: Will every class run be made available on Replay – or only the classes in which the client was enrolled?
This depends on your Replay Settings that you can configure in the Spivi Home & Replay section of the My Studio page. For example, If you select “Members who took the class can replay too” then your members will be able to participate only in the classes that they’ve participated in in-studio. If you select “Anyone who took at least one live class (in-studio or at-home) during the last 14 days“, then they will have access to all Replay classes for 14 days.
Is there any way to only upload only some of my classes to Replay? Can I remove Replay classes, or pick which ones are uploaded?
This option can be found in the Spivi Home & Replay section of the My Studio page. Select an available recorded class on the left side of the page, then enable the “Replay-Enabled class” option. Additionally, if you’d like to add a class to the featured list on the Spivi Home software, you can do so by enabling the “Featured Class” option. This will grant free access to this class to anyone with Spivi home, and is meant to promote your classes to potential new clients.
Can we change our webcam orientation, used for Spivi Home, from landscape to portrait mode?
Unfortunately no, you cannot change the webcam orientation from landscape to portrait. The webcam, in some scenarios, is used to replace your performance tile on the screen. Switching your webcam’s orientation from landscape to portrait mode will end up rotating your video feed 90° left or right.
How do I charge my members for accessing Spivi Replay classes?
In order to charge your members to access your Spivi Replay classes, you will first need an active Spivi Payment Processing Service subscription. You can subscribe to this service from the Services & Pricing section of the My Studio page. Once you’ve linked your Stripe or Paypal account, you should then create a Replay pricing option, and enable this pricing option in the Spivi Replay Settings, found in the Spivi Home & Replay section of the My Studio page. Lastly, you should configure your Merchant Service Options, and enable “use a member’s credit when Spivi Home Replay Settings are set to only allow members with matching credit on file to replay classes“.
Can I charge my members for accessing Spivi Replay classes if my club is integrated with ZingFit, VirtuaGym, Mindbody, or any other 3rd party booking system?
You can charge your members for your Replay classes, and still use your 3rd party booking system, but you will have to manually add credits to your members’ accounts for each purchase.
First, navigate to your Spivi Replay Settings, found in the Spivi Home & Replay section, and configure the following:
• Anyone with Matching Credit on File is selected
– This will only allow members that have Replay credits on their account to view and participate in Replay classes from home.
Once you select “Anyone with Matching Credit on File“, you will be automatically redirected to the Spivi Payment Processing Service subscription page. Subscribe to the free service, then navigate to the Merchant Service Options page, found on the My Studio page, and configure the following:
• “Use member’s credit when Spivi Home Replay Settings are set to only allow members with matching credit on file to replay classes?” – YES
– This will deduct a Replay credit from a user’s account once they have participated in a Replay class from home for more than 15 minutes.
• If you are integrated with ZingFit (Does not apply to VirtuaGym/MindBody): “Enable user Checkout in widget menus?” – NO
– This will not allow anyone to purchase any classes/packages directly through the Spivi app and widgets. They must use ZingFit.
– Clubs that are integrated with VirtuaGym/Mindbody should ignore this, and keep their VirtuaGym/Mindbody interface options the same.
Next, create pricing categories on your 3rd party booking system (i.e. 10 Replay classes – $25, Unlimited (5 month) Replay classes – $50, etc). Create similar pricing categories on the Services & Pricing section found on the My Studio page.
Lastly, navigate back to the Spivi Replay settings page, found in the Spivi Home & Replay section of the My Studio page, and configure the following:
• Enable the Replay Pricing Category that you’ve already created, via the Spivi Replay Settings page.
• OPTIONAL: “Members who took the class can replay too” – YES
– This will also allow members that have participated in the class in the studio to replay the class at home.
Every time a member purchases a Spivi Replay package using the 3rd party booking system, you must manually credit each user’s account with the package they purchased from the Manage Club Members section of the My Studio page:
• Search for the member by name/email
• Click on Member Account
• Click Add Credit
• Select the package they purchased to credit their account
