Please follow the steps below to configure your system:
1. In order to have your existing Spivi Studio system ready to accept Spivi Home users, you must first connect your Spivi system’s audio input to your sound system’s output.
The reason for this is to allow the Spivi Studio system to be able to stream the audio, coming out from your audio player and your instructor’s microphone to Spivi Home users in real time.
- Keep your previous input/output settings as they were already configured. This way, the experience for your members that are physically attending your classes will not change.
- Add a new connection between one of the additional output channels of your sound mixer, and the blue “line” input of your Spivi computer’s sound card. We recommend using a 3.5mm mini phone plug to RCA jack adapter with a RCA jack stereo cable.
2. Connect a webcam to your Spivi Studio using one of the available USB ports on the computer if you’d like to show a live video feed of the instructor during the workout. We recommend using an Auto-Focus webcam.
IMPORTANT: To avoid issues such as signal loss/degradation, it is highly recommended to use a USB cable that does not exceed the length of 10 feet. If you need to extend the cable past 10 feet, we suggest that you use a powered USB hub every 10 feet of cable length.
3. Once you have configured your system, you must schedule a call with our support team to test that your Spivi Studio is correctly configured.
Please note that during the call, you must be physically near the Spivi Studio system.
We will ask you to start a workout session and speak into the microphone of your sound system. Once we have verified that we are able to hear your voice during a workout, the test is complete.
To schedule a call with our support team, send an email to support@spivi.com with the subject “Spivi Home Test”, and include the following information:
