Step 1: Make sure that the BLE USB Stick is physically connected to your computer.
Step 2: Verify that the software recognizes the BLE USB stick.
Log into the Spivi Home software, and navigate to the Pairing screen. Check to see that the Bluetooth logo is illuminated.
– If the Bluetooth logo is illuminated, skip to Step 10.
Step 3: Open Device Manager and check to see if the BLE USB Stick is being detected by the computer.
– To open Device Manager, press the Windows key on your keyboard, and type in “Device Manager”
– Expand ‘Ports (COM & LPT)’ or “Universal Serial Bus controllers” and verify that you see a Bluegiga Bluetooth Low Energy stick connected.
Step 4: If you do not see the BLE USB Stick in Device Manager from Step 2, check for any connected Unknown Devices.
Step 5: Download the necessary device driver HERE
– Right click the downloaded file, and select “Extract All” to extract the files to any directory on your computer
Step 6: Open the “BLE” folder and Right-Click the “usbserial.inf” file. Select “Install”.
Step 7: Click “Open” on the popup dialog box, then click “Yes” if prompted.
Step 8: Click “Install” on the popup dialog box.
Step 9: Click “OK” on the popup dialog box. Verify that the BLE USB Stick is now being recognized by your computer. (Step 2)
Step 10: Try to pair your bike one more time.
Step 11: If you are still experiencing issues pairing your BLE compatible bike, try positioning the BLE USB Stick closer to your bike using a USB extender cable.
