Spivi offers a Sign-in Kiosk to offer your members another quick way to sign-in to classes.
The Spivi Sign-in Kiosk online software can be used on tablets and computers.
To set-up a Sign-in Kiosk:
- Place a computer or a tablet in or nearby the room where you use the Spivi system.
- Open a browser and navigate to one of the kiosk links mentioned in: My Studio -> Sign-in Kiosk
Here you can choose between a black or white themed kiosk based on the link you have chosen. Once loaded, first click or touch will toggle full screen mode.
There are three ways that club members can join a class with the sign-in kiosk:
- Log in with email: This option should be chosen if the participant already has an account with Spivi.
- Join class with name: This option should be chosen if the participant does not have a Spivi account, and does not want the class results emailed to them.
- Create new account: This option should be chosen if the participant does not have a Spivi account, but would like the class results emailed to them.
(Optional) If a participant joins a class by selecting “Join class with name” or “Create new account”, they have the option to input their Max HR and VO2 Max values
Max HR
- Max HR is the maximum rate your heart can beat per minute. The standard formula to estimate max HR is 220 – age. For example, if a participant is 40 years old, the max HR would be 220 – 40 = 180.
VO2 Max
- VO2 max is the maximum rate of oxygen consumption measured during incremental exercise; that is, exercise of increasing intensity. The formula for VO2 max is 15.3 x (max HR / resting HR). You can also calculate your max VO2 online by using a VO2 max calculator.
Once you have finished filling in the required fields, click Let’s GO! to complete the sign-in process.
