Gym Mode:
In Gym Mode, the Spivi Arena system will run one 24 hour long class automatically, every day.
Members will automatically log into the workout when the system detects an active HR monitor. This mode is best used when there is no live instructor present, and members can come and go as they please.
Members can also manually log themselves into the workout and use their Apple watches as their HR monitor. Learn more about Apple Watch connectivity HERE.
Class Mode:
In Class Mode, the Spivi Arena system will be operated and controlled by the instructor. Classes can be created in advance via the Spivi class scheduler, and members can book these classes by using the Spivi mobile app, or on your website via the Spivi web widgets.
When a class is scheduled to begin, and the Cardio Workout option is selected on the Spivi system, then anyone who booked the class will be automatically logged into the workout. Members can also manually log themselves into the workout, if they didn't book the class in advance, and still have the ability to use their Apple watches as their HR monitor.
Essentially, Gym Mode is best used when there is no live instructor present. Class Mode is best used when you have scheduled classes with a live instructor.
If you would like to switch your Arena system to Gym Mode / Class Mode, please email support@spivi.com.
